My name is Isla Bhagwanji, the Year 5 Teacher at Acacia Academy. I have a PGCEi from the University of Nottingham and am currently pursuing a BEd with specialization in TESOL. Having had the opportunity to teach in EYFS as well as Key Stages 1-3 has allowed me some insight into the different ways in which children learn. Through this I have developed my own personal teaching ethos: education for every child. In my classroom, I strive to ensure that every child is heard, valued and supported.
