The British National Curriculum lies at the core of our educational programme. The curriculum sets out in some detail what must be taught in each of the subjects. At Acacia, subjects are largely taught by your child’s class teacher who also has responsibility on a daily basis for the pastoral care and social development of your child.
We are also committed to providing appropriate opportunities for the development of your child’s moral, social and cultural values. This is achieved through both the ethos of the school and the curriculum and will be undertaken in partnership with you, the parents, taking account of the individual needs of our pupils and the views of parents.
